Vintage Style Diary
Looking back through older posts as I continue to bring you Uptown Twirl Vintage, I couldn’t help but notice the dramatic changes my body has gone through during my pregnancy.
I have loved every moment of being pregnant and while I am certainly ready for him to arrive {my due date is this Thursday!}, it is an experience that has dramatically changed my appreciation of my body and what I am capable of.
Pregnancy also made my style and appreciation of fashion evolve; having to completely change my approach to dressing. While I did pick up an occasional ‘maternity’ piece or two, I did mostly continue to shop in the same stores, just adjusting my thought process in what would fit my changing shape and enhance my new silhouette. Little empire line dresses, classic black and beautiful detailing become my pregnancy keywords.
