Winter Wonderland
When I saw this editorial from the November issue of Harper’s Bazaar US, I was instantly transfixed by the exquisite snowy wonderland and dramatic, vivid winter wardrobe.
Entitled ‘All Wrapped Up’, this editorial features Eniko Mihalik and was shot by Terry Richardson in the snowy Utah wilderness. Amongst the lush winter wonderland; show stopping pieces by Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Oscar de la Renta, Pucci and Marc Jacobs, amongst others, look all the more intoxicatingly warm, luxurious and striking.
Looking at the stunning imagery, I felt a mix of both pure joy with a pang of sadness. Joy and excitement as Christmas is by far my favourite time of year and any form of snow instantly draws imagery in my mind of festive delights (confession… I have already started watching the Christmas films on TV). Yet a touch of sadness for my London life and that I will not be experiencing a white Christmas this year (you can see some of my 2010 snow frivolity here).
