Valentino Vixens…
On the Red Carpet
This week Anne Hathaway, Alexa Chung and Elle Fanning all chose to look lovely in Valentino.
For the “Love & Other Drugs” New York Premiere, Anne Hathaway chose a stunning Valentino Fall 2010 dress. The adorable tiered silhouette with floral print and fringing is sophisticated yet oh-so sweet. And the long sheer bow at her neck adds the perfect finishing touch. Anne Hathaway always oozes Old-Hollywood glamour on the red carpet and I love this look on her!
Chung wore a dress from the Valentino Resort 2011 collection to the premiere. With a tucked in waist and A-line skirt, this dress gives Chung’s usual off-beat cool aesthetic a definite girly edge. Meanwhile, Elle Fanning looked cute as a button in a strapless Valentino Resort 2011 dress. Covered in divine floral appliqués with a bow at the waist, this dress is just too adorable! Love it!
Valentino Spring / Summer 2011
The perfect word to describe the Valentino Spring / Summer 2011 collection is: DIVINE!
Delicate lace, ruffles, tulle and floral embellishment; this collection is the epitome of classic beauty with a youthful, fresh edge. Looks were belted high on the waist and fell to the floor or mid-thigh. A beautiful colour palette of white, blush pink, black, nude and Valentino red made for an unbelievably beautiful collection. And for Valentino designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli, they received the ultimate stamp of approval – a standing ovation from the founder of the house Valentino himself.
