Dear lovelies,
Firstly, let me start by saying ‘pardon’ for not publishing my usual daily dose of fashion news of late. As many of you know, I am currently working on my first collection which, along with my full time position, has kept me very busy for the last month. However, there are so many exciting things happening in the next couple of weeks on UptownTwirl.com, I just wanted to share a couple with you…

Uptown Twirl Style
What I Wore Today…
On Sunday I posted about style icons – Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe and Grace Kelly – their impeccable beauty, elegance and sophistication. These are the women I turn to for inspiration.
Chatting with many of you on Twitter and Facebook, I loved hearing who your style icons were. Many of you agreed with my top 3, while others added their own into the mix. Elle’s style icons were: Faye Dunaway, Mia Farrow, Jackie Kennedy, Audrey Hepburn and Lauren Bacall; while Erin chose Coco Chanel.

Palazzo Versace
My Wednesday Night At Palazzo Versace…
On Tuesday I posted a ‘Fashion Feature’ on the house of Versace. Then on Wednesday night I ended up dining there!
Palazzo Versace on the Gold Coast is the only 8-star Hotel in the world. It was one of the first Fashion Branded Hotels and when it opened in 2000 set a new precedent in luxury.
I have had a couple of special moments here before last night. This is where I spent my Honeymoon and also had my pre-wedding high tea party. It truly is a beautiful hotel – exquisite Versace furniture, incredible surrounds and impeccable design.
On Wednesday, after some browsing of the Versace boutique, we dined at Vie Bar / Restaurant which overlooks the Versace private marina and Broadwater. It is très chic!
My visit to Versace was entirely unexpected, so please excuse the quality of my photos. As I didn’t realise I would be having such a fashionably perfect Wednesday evening, these pics were taken with my iPhone…
