It’s Time To Fall In line – Military Trends

This summer everyone is again taking about the Military trend. It was featured in the July issue of UK Vogue’s “In Vogue” section and on the catwalks designers gave us many extremes to introduce this look into our wardrobes… from full on camouflage prints to khaki coloured separates.

I think the Christian Doir Pre-Fall 2010 show is my absolute all time favourite interpretation of the Military trend. It has taken this trend and in my eyes made it oh-so sexy, fun and feminine.

With an undeniably strong WW2 pull, this collection features stunning shades of khaki, olive and brown. With military tin helmets remade in leather and cute berets this collection whisks you straight into the zone of London air raids. I adore the playful knee high socks with bows, chic pencil skirts, gorgeous finishes of lace, fur collared coats and cute practical satchels.

After this collection the military style regiment may just be for me after all. x
